Happy Halloween 2016!

This year was a fun one for Halloween as Carson got to pick out his own costume (a race car driver) and Cooper surprised me with his trick-or-treating skills.

Our first Halloween activity was The Goblin Give Out in downtown Littleton. This one was mostly for Carson as I was by myself with the boys and it was a bit hectic with the crowds. Carson was great and walked in to multiple stores by himself to grab a treat.

Next was Trick or Treat Street at Belmar. Cooper took a morning nap on this day so by the time we got there most of the stores were out of candy and the few stores that did have candy left had a long line. But we were able to go to a few stores and Cooper got his first chance to get some candy.

Next we went to a local church's fall festival and this was really fun. Despite there being a few lines to wait in, Carson grasped the concept well that we had to play games to get candy and he happily waited to play. They even had a room for smaller kids where Cooper ran around. And it was here that he learned the candy bowl is the greatest thing ever! He kept walking around and grabbing candy from everyone, little stinker!

And last but not least we gave our neighborhood a try for trick-or-treating. I was a little hesitant since we have no street lights or sidewalks, but my friend who lives in the same neighborhood said it was f un last year so we met up with them and oh man was it good! Full-sized candy bars, good bags, juice boxes we hit the jackpot and Cooper was the cutest trick-or-treator ever! I was so surprised to see him walk up to a house, grab pieces of candy and then walk back to find the bucket to put it in. Both boys had a blast and it was such a fun, memorable night.

Happy Halloween!
