Cooper Thomas: 14 Months

Sweet, Cooper! You still LOVE your milk and cry every morning til the cup is in your hand. We have to sneak it around to wash it because every time you see {the cup} you're ready for something to be in it! You are still doing great with foods and love chicken nuggets and waffles! At about 13 1/2 months you officially started walking. This is when you learned to stand up with out the assistance of the couch, wall, train table etc. But you do dislike shoes very much! The only ones I've found that you don't kick off are a pair of crocks a friend gave us. But even then, if you are in your carseat and shoes are on your feet, you let us know you are not happy!

You love attention. Someone has to always be paying attention to you or holding you. It's a good thing your brother is good at making you laugh now! Recently he has started chasing you around and you think it's the funniest thing in the world. You also love his monster voices and often mimic him. One thing daddy and I love about you is your hugs. When we pick you up you will rest your head on our shoulder and melt our hearts! You love saying "uh oh" and it's even more fun when you drop your dinner or a toy and then say it over and over. You have started "talking on the phone" and a few times I've caught you babbling like you were having a conversation with someone. You love getting in to everything you aren't suppose to but your favorite is one of our kitchen drawers and climbing the train table. One new trick you learned this past month was how to go backwards down slides and nodding your head yes and no. Your favorite activity is pushing cars or walking behind something and pushing it (i.e. the stroller, shopping cart, walker, etc). You also discovered sitting on the couch and love it!

We are finally getting you out on the trails and we are having so much fun making family memories. You went on your first camping trip this past month and while you loved being outside you didn't do well sleeping because of the cold. We love you Cooper!
