Cooper is 13 months today and changing daily. He started taking steps right around his birthday and continues to improve each day, but still not a walker yet. In order to start walking he has to stand up while holding something, but he can now walk steps then stop and stand and walk some more. He looks like a little monster when he walks with his arms out and growling with excitement! I'm happy to report he FINALLY EATS FOOD and he will for sure be our messy eater. He is also very in to his milk and this particular cup brand. I've attempted other cups but NO.... how dare you not give him "his cup." And you've got to give him milk and breakfast as soon as he leaves the crib or he will make sure everyone else in the house wakes up!
One new trick he's learned in the past week is pretend talking on the phone. It is just the cutest when he puts the phone (or just his hand) up to his ear and starts babbling away. His favorite thing to say right now is "mmee" which I can only imagine he learned from his older brother yelling "mommeee" all-day-long! He's finally showing some interest in books and he'll flip the pages and point at stuff, but the attention span is not long at all! His two favorites seem to be the first words and touch-and-feel books. I think he's starting to learn that a cow goes moo and pigs make snorting noises as he'll occasionally mimic the sounds after me. But his favorite noise to make is monster growls, just like big brother. Seriously they have monster-voice battles! A few other things he's picked up is waving bye-bye, signing "all done" and shaking his head "no." He loves walking behind the shopping cart or walker, pushing cars or taking any toy big brother has.
Cooper is the cutest little stinker and Reid and I constantly find ourselves smiling and laughing at this goofy boy!
