Well we are down to the last month of having {a baby} in the house and I've officially hit that stage where I'm ready for Cooper to be a walking, talking toddler! Now for the update...
You are getting in to EVERYTHING! When we open the fridge, bathroom door, dishwasher, front door, you crawl at lightening speed to get there. You also love to crawl all over us when we are on the floor, pulling hair, hitting us with whatever you are holding, occasionally biting (thank you teething). You also love to pull anything and everything off our chairs, counters, table tops. Crazy boy! There's never a dull moment with you right now.
A couple of weeks ago you had ear tube surgery and the results right after were great. For about a week and a half you slept through the night and then the teething monster hit again! You are drooling like crazy, waking up again and waking up angry, rubbing your ears and not eating your bottles as well. Looks like you are working on two more top teeth. But for the moment you still have 6.
You haven't been really been up to any new things lately. We've caught you taking your hands off while you are standing to test your balance in the last week or so. Some things you love doing are banging and pushing objects on the floor. Usually it's a car or train, but sometimes it's a cup, the remote or a book. You still have zero interest in eating food. You are interested in food because you always seem to want ours, but anytime we give you food it goes in, you chew a few bites, spit it out and repeat. I've noticed on some blogs I follow that it can be common for babies to not be interested in food 'til 14-16 months. So I guess I won't start stressing about it just yet.
I honestly didn't think I could have a crazier baby than your brother but you have proved me wrong! You do occasionally crawl to us and hold your arms up for us to hold you, but it's not long before you're squirming around. I'm having to get creative at every diaper change to keep you still long enough! But despite your craziness, you are a pretty happy little dude who keeps us on our toes and we love you!
