Exploring Denver: Museum of Nature and Science

Carson is getting to that age where Reid and I are more comfortable taking him places, but he still has lots of improvement. We at least can have him out for longer periods of time now, but we are still waiting on him to walk! He does not like to be held and wants to crawl everywhere. One there are some dirty grounds out there, and two he scrapes up his legs and toes dragging them all around.

Today we tried venturing to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I found a Groupon where we got entry to the museum and special exhibit (Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed), and a ticket to an IMAX movie and Planetarium showing. They had some good options I'm sure Carson would have enjoyed, but walking through the museum was taking longer than anticipated (and not to mention we got there later than plan because we meandered all through downtown trying to detour around a Pride Fest parade).  But the best part of the museum was a new kids Discovery Zone. They had a small infant area that Carson loved crawling around and naturally he loved the big water tables they had.

The museum is right near City Park which has one of the most popular views of Denver, so I had to stop by and play tourist!!
