Well we made it and our littlest is now a year old! Cooper is quite the handful! He's so curious and in to absolutely everything. It's a good think he's my favorite (shhh!) or I'd be losing it by now, lol. He loves cruising the furniture and has even been seen standing and taking (or attempting) 1-2 steps. One new thing he's learned is how to go backwards down stairs. He's a pretty good sleeper now but still isn't in to the food. BUT we are making progress and the next month will be transitioning him to milk/foods.
For Cooper's birthday we made a trip back to Kansas and had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends. As I imagined Cooper wasn't in to eating his cake, but he sure loved poking it with the decorations. We had a Wild and One themed party complete with s'mores cupcakes! Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate!
Since turning one (4 days ago) Cooper is already changing. He's got another tooth, is making new babbling noises and took 4 steps! I can't wait to watch him change and learn new things over the next months. We love you Cooper and hope you had a very fun birthday!
